These pictures manage to link apparently opposite subjects and types of photography by means of the main leitmotiv which inspires them all: using the language of art, they show the surreal side of the world to their observer. This concept represents the trait d’union between the two genres to which belong the most part of these photos:

Art Photography

which conveys both the idea of photographing artworks and the concept of the artistic talent needed to that. Art photography means to reveal supernatural fantasies - as palpable as the objects which inhabit them- by taking a picture. It means to build surreal sceneries, using just few concrete elements, which the eye of the photographer transforms into vehicles of dreamlike atmospheres.

Reportage

which aims to photographs isolated, ignored, or forgotten realities of life, capturing the essence and the magic of everyday life in the pictures. From his own perspective on the world, the photographer depicts actions, landscapes, lights, and colours which we see every day, in order to enhance their unique value and their potential charm,  or in order to give voice to unsaid feelings, which should be shouted out making us open our eyes.

Photographing

every small or little thing which represents a deviation from the rules governing the static, tired, everyday routine. Perversion and idealization of the reality are both means enabling the photographer and the observers to stay in contact with the invisible side of life and of the world, surrounding everything and everyone with a surreal atmosphere.
